I’m not going to beat around the bush; I love Stamps.com out of all the other online postage services found on the internet! For over 5 months now, I have been using their services and I don’t have even one complaint against them. My love affair with Stamps.com started a couple of months back when I got some postcards and coupons from a friend having postage stamps from Stamps.com. Looking at the envelope, I thought it was pretty awesome and that it would be of great use for my online store and business.

First off, I really liked their membership options. The first one was a basic service. BUT don’t let the word basic deceive you into thinking that it is just that…basic. Matter of fact, when you sign up for this, you get $20 worth of free postage right away. PLUS, you get to enjoy all of the easy to understand and money saving features you won’t find anywhere else. You may be asking – “So what’s the price for the basic service?” Get this – for only 10 percent of the amount of the postage you used or for the very minimal charge of $1.99, you get to enjoy all of the niceties and features that Stamps.com has to offer.

On the other hand, if you are someone who runs a business dependent on mailing packages and letters to customers, you definitely want to check out their Premium Service. Stamps.com’s premium plan comes with a $40-worth of postage coupled with a 5 pound postal scale FREE of charge. And you get truckloads more for only $15.99. Still a bargain considering the discounts that you get from Stamps.com for the postage solutions and service that you use often. That’s something your average postage stamps or postage meter company doesn’t offer.

I had to settle for the basic membership though since I don’t mail out that often to justify the price of the premium membership. Nevertheless, I am very happy with Stamps.com’s features and services.

Stamps.com Review – Ease Of Use
I have used postage solution software and applications from other sites like Endicia and Pitney Bowes. And I was extremely disappointed at the convenience department. Using their software and interface isn’t convenient at all. Not being very computer literate, I was having a hard time keeping up with all of those options and settings that I couldn’t understand. This isn’t the case with Stamps.com! Their guided tour helps you understand every single function that their software has. Before, I wasn’t sure if my printer could do envelopes and print postage stamps straight on them. HOWEVER, following the instructions from Stamps.com, I discovered that my printer can do it and it works perfectly!

Stamps.com Review – Their Customer Service Department
There were times that I had to use Stamps.com’s customer service hotline. And I was very pleased to find that the guys in this department are very quick to answer your call and they don’t stop until they can’t figure out what’s wrong with your account or software. I called them after realizing that my son accidentally uninstalled the software after mistaking it for some adware or spyware. Very easily, the customer service personnel on the other line figured out how to get around it and have the software installed in minutes.

In no time, I was back on track and ready to print postage when I need to. This online postage service is highly recommended even if you are not running a business that needs shipping and postage solutions. You never know when you are going to need that postage and you surely don’t want to waste time and gas for that boring trip to the Post Office with those bulky packages.
